Calathea 'Quieta-wrenfeather' care

Calathea 'Quieta-wrenfeather' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a vining spreader and asks mostly to be left alone.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the leaves just begin to soften. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at a humid corner or grouped planting, potted in rich, moisture-retentive mix. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
