Calathea 'Nocturne-viridis' care

Calathea 'Nocturne-viridis' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a vining spreader within its first year.

Position it in bright indirect light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. It prefers to be watered weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
