Calathea 'Halcyon' care

Calathea 'Halcyon' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a vining spreader within its first year.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the leaves just begin to soften. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at a humid corner or grouped planting, potted in rich, moisture-retentive mix. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
