Calathea 'Ember-viridis' care

Collectors know Calathea 'Ember-viridis' for its steady pace; it keeps an upright clump even in imperfect corners.

Position it in medium filtered light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. It prefers to be watered sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at 55% humidity or higher, potted in a chunky aroid mix. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
