Calathea 'Lucida' care
Calathea 'Lucida' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a trailing habit and asks mostly to be left alone.
It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.
Keep it at average room humidity; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
