Calathea 'Opaline' care

Calathea 'Opaline' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a slow climber within its first year.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered when the leaves just begin to soften, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at 55% humidity or higher, potted in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
