Calathea 'Borealis-duskwell' care

Calathea 'Borealis-duskwell' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a compact rosette and asks mostly to be left alone.

It does best in low to medium light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at occasional misting in dry rooms; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
