Pilea 'Tessera-wrenfeather' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Pilea 'Tessera-wrenfeather' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at occasional misting in dry rooms, potted in a chunky aroid mix. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
