Pilea 'Lucida-vireo' care
Pilea 'Lucida-vireo' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a slow climber and asks mostly to be left alone.
It does best in medium filtered light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.
Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in rich, moisture-retentive mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
