Pilea 'Quieta-stellata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Pilea 'Quieta-stellata' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.

Give it medium filtered light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
