Pilea 'Marmorata-quieta' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Pilea 'Marmorata-quieta' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in morning sun with afternoon shade, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered little and often, keeping the mix barely moist, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Aim for average room humidity and use coco coir with added bark — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
