Pilea 'Lucida-quieta' care

Collectors know Pilea 'Lucida-quieta' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the leaves just begin to soften. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use a free-draining cactus-leaning mix — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
