Pilea 'Borealis-minima' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Pilea 'Borealis-minima' forms a vining spreader and settles quickly indoors.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at a humid corner or grouped planting; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
