Pilea 'Aurora-velutina' care

Pilea 'Aurora-velutina' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a compact rosette within its first year.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at a humid corner or grouped planting, potted in rich, moisture-retentive mix. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
