Pilea 'Aurora-seraphine' care
Collectors know Pilea 'Aurora-seraphine' for its steady pace; it keeps an upright clump even in imperfect corners.
It does best in medium filtered light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.
Aim for a pebble tray in heated rooms and use coco coir with added bark — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
