Pilea 'Argentea-nocturne' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Pilea 'Argentea-nocturne' forms a vining spreader and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in bright light with no direct midday sun, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for average room humidity and use a free-draining cactus-leaning mix — roots here want air as much as water. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
