Maranta 'Silvergleam-stellata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Maranta 'Silvergleam-stellata' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in bright light with no direct midday sun and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for occasional misting in dry rooms and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
