Maranta 'Aurora-wrenfeather' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Maranta 'Aurora-wrenfeather' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in medium filtered light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the leaves just begin to soften; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for a pebble tray in heated rooms and use a free-draining cactus-leaning mix — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
