Maranta 'Seraphine-stellata' care

Maranta 'Seraphine-stellata' rewards a patient owner: it grows as an upright clump and asks mostly to be left alone.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at occasional misting in dry rooms, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
