Maranta 'Opaline-velutina' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Maranta 'Opaline-velutina' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the leaves just begin to soften. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at average room humidity, potted in coco coir with added bark. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
