Maranta 'Nocturne-silvergleam' care
Maranta 'Nocturne-silvergleam' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a compact rosette within its first year.
It does best in low to medium light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.
Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
