Maranta 'Nocturne-quieta' care

Collectors know Maranta 'Nocturne-quieta' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in rich, moisture-retentive mix. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
