Maranta 'Lucida-silvergleam' care
Among the quieter members of the genus, Maranta 'Lucida-silvergleam' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.
Give it medium filtered light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.
Aim for occasional misting in dry rooms and use rich, moisture-retentive mix — roots here want air as much as water. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
