Maranta 'Halcyon' care

Maranta 'Halcyon' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a compact rosette within its first year.

Give it bright indirect light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for occasional misting in dry rooms and use rich, moisture-retentive mix — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
