Maranta 'Halcyon-marmorata' care

Maranta 'Halcyon-marmorata' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a vining spreader and asks mostly to be left alone.

Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the leaves just begin to soften; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
