Maranta 'Ember-lucida' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Maranta 'Ember-lucida' forms a trailing habit and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in medium filtered light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered when the top third of the mix is dry, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at average room humidity, potted in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
