Maranta 'Duskwell-silvergleam' care

Maranta 'Duskwell-silvergleam' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a compact rosette and asks mostly to be left alone.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in coco coir with added bark and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
