Maranta 'Cascadia-vireo' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Maranta 'Cascadia-vireo' forms a vining spreader and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for a pebble tray in heated rooms and use a chunky aroid mix — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
