Maranta 'Cascadia-umbra' care

Maranta 'Cascadia-umbra' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a vining spreader within its first year.

It does best in morning sun with afternoon shade, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at a humid corner or grouped planting, potted in coco coir with added bark. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
