Maranta 'Cascadia-marmorata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Maranta 'Cascadia-marmorata' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in morning sun with afternoon shade, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at occasional misting in dry rooms, potted in rich, moisture-retentive mix. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
