Maranta 'Cascadia-lucida' care

Maranta 'Cascadia-lucida' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a vining spreader and asks mostly to be left alone.

Position it in low to medium light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
