Maranta 'Brevifolia-wrenfeather' care

Collectors know Maranta 'Brevifolia-wrenfeather' for its steady pace; it keeps a trailing habit even in imperfect corners.

It does best in low to medium light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the top third of the mix is dry. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
