Maranta 'Borealis-tessera' care
Collectors know Maranta 'Borealis-tessera' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.
It does best in low to medium light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.
Aim for 55% humidity or higher and use a free-draining cactus-leaning mix — roots here want air as much as water. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
