Begonia 'Umbra-wrenfeather' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Begonia 'Umbra-wrenfeather' forms a trailing habit and settles quickly indoors.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the leaves just begin to soften; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
