Begonia 'Brevifolia-umbra' care

Collectors know Begonia 'Brevifolia-umbra' for its steady pace; it keeps a compact rosette even in imperfect corners.

Position it in bright indirect light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the top third of the mix is dry. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at a humid corner or grouped planting; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
