Begonia 'Quieta-vireo' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Begonia 'Quieta-vireo' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered little and often, keeping the mix barely moist, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
