Begonia 'Opaline-tessera' care

Begonia 'Opaline-tessera' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a vining spreader within its first year.

It does best in morning sun with afternoon shade, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at occasional misting in dry rooms; pot it in coco coir with added bark and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
