Begonia 'Nocturne-velutina' care

Collectors know Begonia 'Nocturne-velutina' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.

Position it in low to medium light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. It prefers to be watered weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Aim for average room humidity and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
