Begonia 'Nocturne-opaline' care

Collectors know Begonia 'Nocturne-opaline' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.

It does best in bright light with no direct midday sun, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
