Begonia 'Minima-vireo' care

Collectors know Begonia 'Minima-vireo' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for a pebble tray in heated rooms and use a free-draining cactus-leaning mix — roots here want air as much as water. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
