Begonia 'Halcyon-lucida' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a compact rosette within its first year.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.
