Begonia 'Borealis-viridis' care

Collectors know Begonia 'Borealis-viridis' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at average room humidity; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
