Begonia 'Argentea-umbra' care

Collectors know Begonia 'Argentea-umbra' for its steady pace; it keeps a trailing habit even in imperfect corners.

Give it medium filtered light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered little and often, keeping the mix barely moist, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use a chunky aroid mix — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
