Alocasia 'Quieta-wrenfeather' care

Alocasia 'Quieta-wrenfeather' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a compact rosette within its first year.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at occasional misting in dry rooms, potted in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
