Alocasia 'Argentea-cascadia' care
Alocasia 'Argentea-cascadia' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing an upright clump within its first year.
Give it medium filtered light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.
Aim for occasional misting in dry rooms and use a chunky aroid mix — roots here want air as much as water. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
