Alocasia 'Quieta-silvergleam' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Alocasia 'Quieta-silvergleam' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in medium filtered light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the top third of the mix is dry. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use rich, moisture-retentive mix — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
