Alocasia 'Marmorata-wrenfeather' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Alocasia 'Marmorata-wrenfeather' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in bright light with no direct midday sun, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
