Alocasia 'Halcyon-perlata' care

Collectors know Alocasia 'Halcyon-perlata' for its steady pace; it keeps an upright clump even in imperfect corners.

Position it in bright light with no direct midday sun and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use rich, moisture-retentive mix — roots here want air as much as water. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
