Alocasia 'Duskwell-silvergleam' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing an upright clump within its first year.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in coco coir with added bark. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
