Alocasia 'Cascadia-quieta' care
Alocasia 'Cascadia-quieta' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a vining spreader within its first year.
Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.
Aim for occasional misting in dry rooms and use standard mix cut with a third perlite — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
